I'm thinking of getting a 9mm. Would like a good quality gun thats accurate and dependable, would like something that should last a lifetime. Am considering one of the Berettas 96 or 96fs(...or ?). Anyone have any strong opinions (either way) on these? Should I consider something else?

I went with my B-I-L to an autobody place, he was looking at having a car painted. The guy was working on an old Ford pickup he was getting ready to paint, took the tail light assemblies out and noticed some stuff up in the holes behind the lights, had my B-I-L reach in (longer arms) pulled out...

I saw new blued versions at a show a week ago the price tag on it was $385. Passed it up thing it was too good to be true. Didn't know anything about the company, looked online saw one place saying the frames were stamped not machined. (not sure if that is of concern). Didn't see a...

Very long lines, big crowds, little space from what I saw. Took a good while just to get in, then waited in line at every table. The show venue should've opened up at least one additional area (the building looked to have the space available). This seems like it could've made things better...

You might have to deal with someone that (rightly or not) thinks for some reason the gun now acts differently or sees a scratch that he says wasn't there before.

I went to one in the middle of nowhere, was only there til noon, so it could've all changed after I was gone but I think sticker shock was in effect today. Definite price increases, but handguns seemd to be the only things moving. Several vendors not interested in purchasing anything...

IN and OH I'm pretty sure I don't have to do anything (was told this once by a local dealer several years ago), but was wanting to make sure I didn't run into any problems down the road should something bad ever happen with the gun (don't want it comming back to me). Just asking for your advice.

What legally would/should I need to do to sell a rifle (AK/SKS) to an individual either locally or at a gun show? If it were to take place at a show, is it possible/likely to have a dealer there (for a reasonable fee) take care of any needed paperwork?
