    enough is enough?

I always wear eye and ear protection at the range. I was young back then, well younger than today... around thirty. I´m not a very tall man, and my hands are not big. Anyway I can handle a Glock 17 and a CZ 75 perfectly. And yes... the grips are factory. That´s a point I can easily improve...

Does resized and belled brass shrink?

OK. I don´t think it´s a silly question, as what happened also surprised me. But if you want I can rename this thread.... How about "Stupid question...."?.

    enough is enough?

I was given a 6" 357 revolver by a friend who could no longer use it. He also gave me 50 rounds handloaded by him. I went to the range and filled the cylinder with his 357 rds. My first shot, 25 yards, no rest, was in the center of the X. Yes. I swear it. The rest of the rounds in the wheel...

Does resized and belled brass shrink?

Hi guys. I was loading 200 (out of 2000 pcs of brass) 38 spl with 158 grs LSWC. The brass had been cleaned, resized and belled last year. It was stored in bags and have never seen extreme temperatures or any other unusual circumstance. Well, after priming some of them I checked the...

    Possibly S&W's ugliest gun ever?

I like them all. I wish I had one sample of each and every SW model ever made. But, to be honest, the Governor... ummmm, well... not for me. I think it´s a shame for a reputed manufacturer, sorry, the most reputed one (maybe), to....

    Lyman M die

Just a simple question. Can the 38/357 Lyman M expanding die be used to expand 9mm Luger cases?. I´d like to save some money as I already have the 38/357. And I´m very pleased with it, much more than with the Lee expander.

    32 s&w long or 32h&r for 98grain wadcutter

Warning: Load over max. Only for modern revolvers in good condition. Use at your own. What I do, as suggested here, is to seat a 98 HBWC in the upper lube cannelure, thus getting more volume for the powder. Then load with 2.2 grains of Bullseye, a little more is not needed to get the velocity...

Tell me about/sell me on the .327 Federal Magnum

Even a 32 sw long wc seated long (I mean first grease groove), with ***** powder, A very fast one, would give a good choice. LHBWC are a very good choice for both a target load and and SD one. Just find your way.

    38 spcl SWC SEATING DIE

I use a Lyman. Plugs for WC, SWC or FP and RN. The one for WC allows you to seat the bullet slightly under flush, to later roll crimp it exactly as factory ammo. BTW the expander die is wonderfull.

    Very light 9mm loads

As far as I know detonation with low charges only may happen in rifle ammo. The main concern about low charges in handguns is a bullet that got stuck in the barrel. It´s easy to notice if you feel a very low recoil. It´s easy to avoid by shooting just one round in the mag and cheking if it left...

    Handloading In The Movies

To LostSheep It´s the scene wich takes place at the bar where he and Glenn have gone looking for Hershel, after the fight in wich they kill two survivors from other group. At that time it was more likely to find someones reloading gear than finding a plenty of ammo gunshop. If I were killed...

    Handloading In The Movies

Don´t forget that Rick Grimes collects his empty brass after reloading his Python in The Walking Dead.
