Did you read the little blue card that came with the Hogue grips (or used to)? It warns of potential interference on Sigs and similar pistols and describes the fix. GB6491 also explained the fix! Check their web site.

What they can do is determine if the gun is stolen and/or determine whether you are, or not, a convicted felon in illegal possession of a firearm. In any event it's going to take some of your time!

You didn't tighten it enough. I've never had a 2-piece FLGR loosen in 30 years of shooting.
