No shortage of AR lowers that I can see. Major distributers have literally thousands in stock. I agree that they need to get off their ass and pick up a phone.

SOG is getting a little rediculous with their shipping. They recently informed me it would cost $20 to ship each 700rnd tin of romainian 7.62x39. They are on some serious crackola. :rolleyes: I've been buying my 5.45 from zanders. Its about the same price as AIM.

all the kewl kids are getting them. and santa's little elves are buying kits and churning them out for the anticipated holiday demand.

aloha: did you see that rsr has a listing, allthough not in stock, for a s&w 5.45x39 complete rifle? its $772.28. Item# SW811003 when im in rsr and searching, i have to type in "545x39" to get results. a search for "5.45x39" shows nothing.

yes they are not cheap or easy to find either.

yes it takes 16rnd factory or mecgar mags. these will fit flush unlike the 19rnd mags.

i have a few of these lowers myself and just ordered some DPMS lpk's because they were cheap @ $45. i hope i made a good decision. i could of sworn my FFL asked spikes what lpk they use, and was told DPMS.

Thanks alot. Sorry but im still confuzzled. If I buy the tapco T6 stock with the buffer/spring, do I still need a buffer tube? Will the quality of this tapco be equivilent to say, a standard M4 stock on an off-the-shelf AR?
