I was setting up my new 58 pietta when I noticed one of the two cylinders it came with has no proofs marks on it whatsoever....:confused: any ideas on this one fellas.

no its your only option for a holster. there are more then a few folks out there making c&b holsters, but i carry my '60 in that same triple k holster around the farm and its been nothing but awsome the only thing i did to mine was put a piece of latigo cord loop on the lower strap and hooked it...
Have not tried it myself but was reading a magazine article on the subject some time ago and the author used a 44 or 45 cal inverted gas check to seal off the cylinder mouth.
Coyote nailed it .....at least for me. I've carried both open and closed toe holster and closed toe wins. I was a caretaker on a small farm and a revolver went with almost everywhere, an I learned real quick what worked and what didn't . The full flap is my favorite but east coast summers unlike...
My 50 cal long rifle is for hunting and plain ol fun
My c&b is my working gun on the farm, from keeping foxes away from the chicken coop, snakes outta the wood pile and to deter other 2 legged critters
I'm carrying a 60 at the moment but I have found that the remmies are much much better...
It's a 50 cal 42" bbl with a slow twist but yeah I dont expect much of anything resembling a uniform pattern just kinda felt like putting a dent in this jar of shot
