Like others have said, "You can't go wrong with them". I've been using them for a few years and found the plating to be much more consistent than Berry's. Plus side they are also cheaper. Been using 230gr. .45 RN and 180 gr. .40 and like them alot.

My factory ammo gets thrown in the ammo can in the boxes. Also with a homemade dessicant pack. Reloaded plinkers loose with desi pack.

Wasabi and soy almonds, licorice Altoids, chipotle and BBQ Doritos, chicken marinated in carribean jerk, lemon meringue pie, carne asada burritos, prime rib with lots of horseradish, blooming onions, candy cane ice cream, stuffed red bell peppers etc..............Sorry I digress, I'm on a diet...

I don't think the people you are shooting at in a SHTF situation are going to stop and ponder "was that a 230gr. XTP or just a 230gr. ball?"

I've picked up a number of the Herter's and thought the same until I did the ol' magnet test. Much to my surprise the cases did not stick.

What CFULLGRAF said. If the case mouth is dented I'll usually take a punch and take the dent out so it fits in the sizing die. If the dent is located in the body I'll see how bad it is after the case has been resized before tossing it.

My favorite place to tumble is in the hay. :D The kids tumble at a gym and brass tumbles in the garage.

A buddy of mine showed up out in the desert where we shoot with a Dr. Scholl's corn pad stuck to his shell deflector. After I picked myself up from the ground where I had been rolling around from laughter he showed me how well it worked. :D

I use these for brass and bullets.

What Frogo said, either too much Lemi or left in it too long. Tumble it and it should be fine. Just call it your Hello Kitty Load. :D
