I own the Tuffy stock version of this gun and it's 1-2" groups @ 50 yards all day long with 250JHP ( single action ). Bullet drop between 50 to 100 yrds. is pretty severe - maybe 6 to 9 inches!

I mostly shoot the factory Winchester 255 JSP round. It's pretty anemic but a pleasure to shoot off-hand with no recoil pad. Check out my Youtube video.

How about a CZ 527 in 7.62x39? I hear these guns are quite accurate, even with the cheapo eastern bloc steel ammo. And, @ .25-30 cents a round, you can plink all day long!

I had one of these once. I was able to get a limited number of spare parts from Northwest Arms of Pasco, WA. The biggest weak spot with these guns is the anemic twin recoil springs struggling to cycle the enormous telescopic bolt. The later Wilkinson Arms Linda re-design was a major improvement.

I have one of these. I put a straight adapter on it and installed a MagPul stock. I also drilled and tapped the flat top to install a full section of rail on which I placed a red dot. The original fixed sights that were designed for the Linda pistol were pretty useless. I did a Youtube video...

I recently bought a Miroku made Winchester 1885 .38-55 "Trapper" with 16.5" barrel. Just curious if anyone else owns one of these and how much velocity and energy am I losing in such a short barrel?
