My small & young dog was once attacked in my fenced back yard. I tried yelling and hitting to try and stop the attack first. With no results I pulled my gun and shot at close range. Problem solved.
Ofcourse the attack was by a much larger stray dog.
If it had been a person I'd have went to jail.
I'm NOT a Glock fan, but the the new 42 felt pretty good in the hand. Although I've never shot one.
It's hard to beat the p239 or 938 for concealment and range shooting IMO. Any smaller than that like a 738 is not going to be fun to shoot at the range much.
I've never seen any ugly guns. Some different and unique, but not ugly. I will say that a expensive extra nice looking gun gets a little more care in not beating the crap out of. Not that I use them as hammers, but some do get extra attention to avoid nicks and scratches
It seems to shoot just fine. I'll probly leave it alone for now and just enjoy shooting it when I can ever find the time. I'm going to pick up a cheap but good nylon holster w/ xtra mag holder at the same flea mkt this weekend for $10. So I'll have $235 in it. I don't like owning pistols that...
I had always thought the pointed foam rubber ones on the flexible band would be handy. After using the pair I got they seem to do very little in noise reduction. Plus you can't use muffs with them because of sealing.
The mark lll on buds for $302 looks almost identical to it. What's the difference? I've always thought guns were better than $ in the bank anyway.
The only other 22 semi autos I have are a GSG 1911, j22 & a Phoenix. So it's different. A cpl revolvers, three semi auto rifles & a remmington 1903...
I guess the old man & son made it seem like a steal. The kid said he could get 300 easy somewhere else.
I'm still happy with it and don't own any similar. I do like the Luger look & feel. It's a good shooter with smooth action.
Picked up a Ruger Mark ll semi auto over the weekend. It's blue, 4" tapered barrel in fair to good cond. Seems to shoot & feed well.
I paid $225 at flea mkt. thought it was a good price at the time, or is that close to norm? Also not sure in the age of it either
Yes that would have a better approach as a response. The police could have apologized when they let him go and have his gun back.
Woulda-coulda-shoulda... Never the less, it's the taxpayer that ends up losing in these suits.
There's no guarantee of that or anything , but when they ran your name, dl# etc, they can see no outstanding warrants, past arrests which make them less likely to shoot you if you sneezed
