    fort knox defender--vs???

I have no problem moving around equipment that weighs 2-3k we do it all the time at work.as for getting it in the basement it will not be a issue as my house is a walkout so I really only have a 2" lift to get it in. This is partially why I want a really heavy duty safe that will be bolted down...

    fort knox defender--vs???

Actually I have thought of 2 amsec bf safes, but was always concerned about the lack of steel in the outer walls and was unsure of the actual "fill"compound they use,not really Impressed with sturdy as they have a pretty high price after adding the fire liner.maybe if I saw one in person.but...

    fort knox defender--vs???

I have contacted and stopped in at my local safe company. But I'm guessing by the posts here they must not be very good as it seems they specialize in rsc containers. I guess I'll have to check out a few more places. Thanks for the input guys. I have around a 6 k budget and want to get the...

RSC Decision - AMSEC or Sturdy

he says he called and no one knows of this upgraded liner.he is really pushing superior safes, most likely because he makes the biggest profit on them. i would really like to know what it would cost for a amsec bf in 7240 with the upgraded liner. maybe i'll check the amsec site and look for...

    fort knox defender--vs???

I would love something like a tl-15 but in the size I'm looking at don't see much available. By reading the other post it looks like a amsec bf with a upgraded liner might also fit the bill. Of course I'm open to other suggestions if they are comparable in capacity Pete

I was looking at a Fort Knox as I like the heavy gauge steel but a amsec with a 4 gauge liner sounds very appealing.who can we contact to get these ordered? Please post some contact info so my dealer can call someone who knows something Thanks Pete

Sturdy Fire-liner (not what you think)

being in construction for the last 20 or so years i would say that mineral /ceramic glass combo is better than Sheetrock when it comes to a fire.we often times pack mineral wool in holes then use firecaulking to get a 1hr fire rating.i too like the sturdy safe package and am thinking i might...

    Bolting down a gun safe

if i were you id look at the pullout ratings of the anchor you are going to use,i think a wedge style (quickbolt)would give you the highest pullout for the money followed by a drop in hammer set anchor, with tapcons pulling up the rear. i have used thousands of concrete anchors in the last 20...

Need help with scope options for .450 bushmaster

would help to know your budget a little better as a lot to you might be a little to me.that said i run a eotech xps on my 450 as it will easily do the trick out to 125 yards and where i hunt the brush is pretty thick.i have found there is nothing better for fast shooting inside 50 yards than the...

    .445 supermag load data

looking for the factory dw load data as i just picked up a .445 supermag. was thinking of loading some 265gr fp's or some 300xtp hollow points or maybe some of the new hornady ftx .44 mag rounds. likely would load these in 44 mag brass that was not trimmed like the hornady manual calls out...
