I recently bought a pioneer model 26 .22 rifle for 20 bucks because it was missing the bolt. Well got home and found the bolts ae 70-120 each. Ordered a savage model 5b bolt on gunbroker and it doesnt go in all the way. May just be some fitting issues but anyone know the history of these rifles...
Thanks. Ive been looking all over the internet to see if there is another one like this one and it seems to be completely unique. That is very early serial and with this specific rear site. Probably not upgraded to the spitzer bullet.
This popped up on centerfire a month ago as a gunsmith special. Stock is rough and had a few cracks and some of the metal is pitted. Bore is pristine. Missing one screw for the rear site. Its all original. And very low serial number. And it doesnt have a single import mark on it. Wondering as...

I have seen too many videos where personal defense shootings involve more than 5 or 6 rounds and prefer to carry 10 +1 with a 15 round backup magazine.
I guess so. I guess I can keep it and just deal with the trigger.
I am looking for a new running buddy. My current gun is a Kel tec p11 inside a belly band. It has served me well but I am wondering if there is another option out there that has a better trigger. Any ideas? The Kel tec weighs 22 oz loaded.
