another vote for the XD-45

Make sure you at least take a look st the Springfield XD-45 it is a fantastic pistol I have had mine for many years.

Another point for a "civil-unrest-type-thing" the AR-10 can break in to two parts (upper and lower) and can be put in a "nothing-to-see-here" bag.

Vote for the XD-45 or XDm-45 if you prefer, but the XD is less money.

Marlin 1895GBL for sure, boy do I want one . But depending on budget and taste an AR in .458 SOCOM, .50 Beowulf, or .45 Bushmaster would do the trick too. (.458 socom ballistics are basically the same as .45-70)

The cold steel hawks are hard to beat for value and fun, I love mine.

The XDm will be the easiest to get again, they are always up for sale, but the PX4 may fetch a better price so you might want to sell that one.

Swiss Army (Vic or Wen is fine), Cold Steel are top notch stuff as well. I voted Spyderco of what you have there. Also Spyderco's Byrd line is great stuff with a tremendous price/performance ratio.
