The NRA is not interested in fully free gun laws. They're more interested in schemes that would require NRA run education to have your firearm(funny how those classes aren't free either). They also seem to take up the stance primarily that guns are for playing, whether that's recreational...
I would sit down and discuss your concerns and reasons why you will not stop carrying. If you cannot come to an agreement with this program I'm sure there is another that would be more than willing to accept your time.
IMHO if you want to be a mentor to children you should act like one and...
Or avoid the legal grey area and take it to a local FFL. They may even run the transfer for free if they're nice and you're buying some ammo for your son in law too.
I don't know all the specific rules for your state but the biggest reason in my eyes to get a concealed carry license is to avoid having to worry about the 1000 foot perimeter around school property that you cannot have a gun unless licensed.
Ask them. They'll know a lot more about their company policy than anyone on high road will. Legally you can purchase the ammo but companies reserve the right not to sell to you if they don't want to. (edit: wow three people in the time it took me to type that)
They're the national institute of health, they study the health effects of everything. Guns are things, so they're interested in the statistics related to them.
They(to me) don't look dressed up and fancy, they look like a functional design. I know they can be purchased in all sorts of fancy versions, especially 1911s.
Much like the 1911 and glock they look like business weapons, they look like they were built for no nonsense killing, and thats often what hollywood is looking for. Almost any gun movie will have at least 2 of glock/1911/beretta 92. check out imfdb.org to get a look at what other movies...
It really depends how rusty it is. When I pulled my grandfather's ariska out of the closet where it had sat for about 16 years since he passed, all I did was run the bore brush down twice, and then cleaner soaked patches until they came out clean. It took a while but the rust came right out...
My answer would be to carry concealed at work(assuming you legally can carry concealed) and just know that if the day ever comes that you have to use it at work you will probably be fired. I don't know about you but I value my life above keeping my job and would willingly make that choice...
Last time I checked it wasn't illegal to lie to a doctor, so on paper a blank doesn't seem to be a problem, if he asks in person just say no. I've never run into this problem but where I live gun ownership is kind of assumed, I've had my doctor ask me if I was all ready for hunting season which...

Hit the ground at the same time? You would have to drop the bullet from the same height as the maximum height the bullet reaches in its flight path at the same time it reaches that point, not when it is fired. And there are still more variables involved than that.

That's why you fire it...

Each is equally stupid as the other.
No reasonable person would ever really believe that you actually had a boating accident. Yeah, right.
And no reasonable person would ever believe that a US Government employee would be able to convince his supervisor that he should log a thousand hours...
No FBI/NSA/ATF I don't own guns anymore, every single one of them was lost in a tragic boating accident. It's just a humourous way of poking fun at the idea that the ATF is hunting on gun forums for people to harrass.
