Sig carry nightmare? Seems to have everything you want.

In order of my preference: Beretta PX4 Stoegar cougar 9mm Sig 2022 Beretta 92/Taurus 92 Walther PPQ? If you are OK with Striker...? CZ 75? unless it has a decocker you have to be OK with SAO...?

I probably like the M&P better for competition. The consistency of the trigger will be easier for you to master for follow up shots as there is no transition between trigger pulls.

Most 1911's should work well out of the box. The fact that you had one that did not, does not mean that all dont work out of the box. Most do work. And in my experience do work well. However if you are asking me to choose a 1911 over a sig 220 based on reliability only...I can not do it...

If you are talking about the firing pin channel cut out... It is normal. It was explained to me to be a stress relief cut out. If you are talking about the wear around the firing pin channel... This is also normal but looks like you may have a couple thousand rounds...? It looks well...

This goes against my own expectations, but my only 2 american made sigs have far better DA triggers than my german made ones. I like the german made ones better, but just looking at DA triggers...the american made 229s are very good.

I like the stoeger cougar for a new under 400 gun. Also the 2022 is a good one too. Used glocks can be found for 379-399 all day.
