Does anyone carry standard rounds for personal protection? I've always been trained that standard rounds can easily pass through a person making them dangerous to carry for self defense (liability of hitting another person after the initial target). Are hollow points not the best way to go?

not to get off subject, but this always alarms me... you (and all) carry hollow points in your weapon...right? Is anyone carrying carrying standard rounds?
