he he It is not that hard. You make three cartridges and do the above. This was my first time to, you proally have some experience to so I would think you would have a better time.
P.S. its a pain in the @$$ to load properly prone and you will probably misfire alot. I misfired 2 times.
Hey guys september 10 and 11 was the first times i shot black powder. The very first time i did we had a competition to see who could get the quickest time. You started unloaded and standing. You had to follow the nine step procedure only you didnt ever stop. Then you ran 12 paces forward load...

Well my friend in my unit also does 1812 and revolutionary war and is a brit. He also wondered the range and tested it with his unit. You were pushing it at 70 yards with vollys he said. 70 yards you might get a few lucky hits
In my reenactments ive only heard and seen up to a 69. and that was something i was told by ear so i think thats the largest caliber. how much more power do u need?
I dont know about specific caps. What I was taugh in reenactments is to bight or pich caps befor you put them on the nipples. I pre pinch mine. Try pinching it at the end and put it on the cylader and it should fit on securley.
