I never had a problem in concealing my G19 (when I owned one) during the hotter months here in Virginia. I just sweated a lot cause I was always wearing a t shirt and a button-down shirt to conceal it. I carry a j-frame 642 nowadays. Wonderful to conceal.... a real pain to shoot. But it fits...

I think I have the exact same problem with mine, too. Going to go ahead and put in the Wolff spring made for the 5-shot 870. Should work, I would hope.
