What clever little things have you "invented or discovered" that you can share?

powder check light for turret press I attached this little flash light to my Lee Classic Turret press to easily check the powder levels. I get these free every time I go to a big computer show. They also have a laser pointer in them but I rarely use that, although I have thought of attaching it...

What clever little things have you "invented or discovered" that you can share?

inexpensive Case Prep tool I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a commercial case prep tool so I made my own using an old drill motor, a sewing machine foot pedal, and a Lee universal chuck. Here are a couple of pictures.

Where to buy LEE Bullet Seater Plugs?

Lee Factory Sales I buy all my Lee stuff from the Factory outlet, which is across the street from the Lee Factory. https://factorysales.com/html/xcart/home.php. Excellent prices, much lower than anywhere else.

Show us a picture of your reloading bench

My reloading bench, latest edition I just installed steel plates with two inches of plywood sandwiched between for a really sturdy mount. Also, I didn't want to pay for a commercial case preparation set up so I used an old drill motor and a sewing machine foot switch. It works great.

    Stronger mounts for press?

Rigid and Secure Press Mounting Here is my recent press mounting effort. Two hot-rolled steel plates with two inches of plywood in between. It's secured with 5/16" bolts and large washers below. This was a very inexpensive and extremely rigid mount.

What clever little things have you "invented or discovered" that you can share?

Here's a tip on using the Lee Pro Auto Disk powder measure for larger caliber rifles loads. Lee says you can stack two disks but this only gives you 42 Grains of powder. I got longer screws for my Lee Pro Auto Disk powder measure and stack 3 disks. This allows me to load 53 grains of powder for...

'Inane' To Think Armed Citizen Can Make a Difference

Can one Citizen make a difference? Mika Brzezinski is a typical anit-gun liberal who not only doesn’t understand the Constitution of the United States and certainly doesn’t understand a basic premise of this country’s unique culture – the power of the individual. The 2nd amendment is my...
