If your going to do a stripped lower. Why not get a stipped lower and upper from JP precision. As money permits buy your parts DD barrel, geissele trigger. Build something that you will truely enjoy and appreciate. If you know you will never sell it do an 80% lower. No serial number no...
My EDC is an M&P 9c. Changed the grip and really like it. I've put a few thousand rounds thru it and the trigger is great. I never was a big Glock fan, but after my wife got one as a duty sidearm and I shot it more. My thoughts started to change. I carried a compact 1911 for a few years and...
Buy the cheapest you can get and build off it. AR's are the hot rods of guns. Build it the way you want it. But I would take the S&W over the Orcle. If you got into DPMS higher line they have some decent firearms, but at that point you could move on to Daniel Defense, LMT, ect. For a few more...
Any defensive tatical training. 21ft. That is the distance that somebody can cover and mortally wound a person before they they can draw and fire. Not saying that you wont get a shot off but at that point they will already be close enough to kill you with a knife. I don't know about you but I'm...
I have a redding neck sizer but haven't used it in several years. I use Lee neck sizers exclusively. I don't use a full length on anything. Not even my Ar's. I use a redding body die. For semi's I set them .005 shorter than a fired case or bottom them out on the press. Which ever comes first...
My wife has a glock 42 and a 43. The 43 is slightly larger. It's not to big for pocket carry put it does push the limits. The 42's smaller size is great. I'm not a fan of the .380. Nothing against it just most that I shot have just as much kick as a comparable 9. Now the 42 is a different...
A knife is close quaters can do more damage than a gun.
I usually only carry one but my wife usually has an M&P shield in her backpack a Glock 42 in her purse and a g43 in the waistband. Along with a 900 lumen pocket light and depends from day to day on how many knives.
The place you might see a difference is if you use different shell holders when seating a bullet. As some are .001-.004 differences. I have redding shell holder that i have one for each caliber I reload. I have Rcbs, Hornady and lee. My favorite is probably the lee. They work in everything. My...
What color do you like? I have a Lee and a Redding big boss 2. I want to see a cartridge that will flex either of them. As for tolerances the redding ram has no movement at all at the top of stroke. The lee press has less than .001 at the top of the ram. As for sizing and depriming either press...
Probably average a box a year. And usually that is buying 5 boxes at a time. Got a new 243 a while back and it was cheaper for me to buy 5 boxes of Hornady factory loads in 5 different bullets. This gives me a chance to try out different bullets without buying 100 bullets and only using a few...
Ok I have seen a couple people ask about co-witness.
I've had my MKIII competition target AKA slab side for some time. I played with an eotech on it a couple 3 times. The eotech was just way to big of my liking for a pistol. So comes the Burris Fastfire III.
I just received the FFIII...
Gosh I think I would start with a cheaper version of the 700. That VSSF is a nice looking gun and the one I shot, shot really good. Not only that but the VSSF has held its value. Unless your lucky you will likely pay close to what they cost new.
Dave understand not being rude.
What I'm saying is if you are intoxicated. Unless you are on your private property. Most states have laws prohibiting you from being in possession of a deadly weapon.
Now you can have those intoxicating drugs on you and not using them and carry your firearm...
