Reloading Rifle Cartridges not conducive to Turret?

I could swear that some of the recent sniper competition guys are loading on Dillon progressives... You probably slow down and focus thinking on all the time you waste loading on a single Stage. The play / variance in a progressive can easily be eliminated

Is anyone seeing much .380 ammo?

It seemed rare and overpriced, so I gave up and bought the dies. Extreme bullets for The 380 semes like a deal.

    Free Range Brass

Wow, I'm lucky when I don't have to beat the brass gulches off with a stick, let alone take more home than I shot

Wounded Warriors Project doesn't deal with companies involved with Firearms?

Good summary Tom, but I think you are letting them off easy by focusing on on the co-branding issue. Their objection is not just to putting their logo on a gun or knife. if you read the statement from their website carefully, it says they will not take money from weapons companies, the term...

Wounded Warriors Project doesn't deal with companies involved with Firearms?

Listen to the podcast. Listen to the podcast. After listening to the latest podcast from Tom Gresham, I am convinced that that CEO was spinning a big fat bunch of lies and smokescreens... Here is the letter I sent to T.G. You are missing something important on the wounded warrior thing. I...

    Prevent ammo tampering.

If that becomes necessary, you'll probably have time to do it. If you are really concerned, two little boxes are not enough. I suggest loose storage in a Locked full 50 cal ammo can. It sounds like you need to get out and shoot more.

    Favorite .45ACP powder

Clays or trail boss get my vote I have tried a ton of powders through the whole range of charges. my process was to chrono each and keep the cases for a comparison of cleanliness, etc. I shoot a 200 gr lswc. The top for cleanliness an soft recoil were Trail Boss, clays, solo 1000 in that...

    Feeding issue

Good to try sd ammo They probably test with ball ammo at the factory, and your sd ammo is hp, that could be the difference. I thought it was a little silly to function test with my sd ammo since it is premium and expensive, but I found the rubber tip sd ammo can be a real problem because the...

Wife bought me a new "wet" tumbler

I don't think the vanes would beat up the brass. The mixer will be half full of water so the brass would be falling into water. I know people use these with corn or walnut. Also with the water, how moist could it be? Markdb I know you meant liquid rubber, but I still don't know what it is...

    new to tumbling media..... ????

I use the stainless steel media method, and compared to walkalongs brass in the photo in post #2, his brass looks dirty. No offense to Walkalong, his brass looks great, and it is plenty clean enough to reload, however I clean indoors when the weather is too bad to shoot, so I decided I didnt...
