My vote is for the G21. It is very simplistic and ugly but big and high capacity. I prefer it to my 1911 and USP-full size. It really gets the job done. Requires medium and larger sized hands.

Are smith and wesson barrels interchangeable with other frame sizes. Could I put a N Frame sized barrel on a L Frame? Could I put a L Frame sized barrel on a K Frame?

I need to have the barrel of my Remington 700 (.308) cut and crowned. It's currently 24 inches, and I'd like to take it down to 20. Can anyone refer me to an reasonably priced rifle gunsmith in L.A. or OC that can cut and crown the barrel. Thanks
