Exactly what i do with one shot and never a stuck case. I reload 223 just like pistol so I dont have to tumble twice and I believe one shot is the only lube that doesn't affect powder

i used LNL parts on my projector but not sure about the pro 7. can't help much with your rod/pin issue. If you buy new primer pick up tubes definitely order them from dillon, there's not much about dillon that I find better than Hornady but their pick up tubes are far far better

I load for 9mm, 45 and 223, and as stated that while I may not be saving massive amounts of money, I also when not be paying double or triple the price or running dry when another drought hits and shelves are empty. Pistol is extremely easy and while 223 is a bit more of a pain, it's not...
definitely agree with that but our kind of whole point was the average snatch and grab robber isn't going to have all that. How many quick get away robbers carry a fire ax or even basic hand tools beyond a pry bar at most? Not very many cuz they're trying to get in and out quickly.
If someone...
oh idk any of the specs for the cannon so im sure you're right, I was just kind of talking in general about cheaper (not cheap) safes in 5-800 range. Was just saying that you can get one that isnt $2500 and 1k lbs and still have some protection for the vast majority of burglars if you take the...
ive never seen quick snatch and grab robbers bring a professional electric dolly like that, but if they knew that you had a safe then I'm sure they would bring one, but then again if they knew you had one then they probably have been planning it out and then no longer fit into the quick snatch...
agreed, that was my thought process when purchasing. Will it keep out everyone?? no of course not, but will it keep out the vast majority of snatch and run burglars?? Id bet on it.
Add that i have a safe alarm and a home alarm plus it's bolted down. With the alarm going off im doubting that...
my procedure,
1. wet tumble.
2. size, decap.
3. trim if necessary but I only do it one time then run them thru the rcbs x die that doesnt let the case grow over 1.75 so I never trim the same brass twice. I use Hornady one shot lube so I don't have to tumble again to remove the lube. Only lube...
i tumble before sizing. don't want dirty brass in my die and I've never personally seen any added benefit to clean primer pockets to justify the extra work to tumble again

i only tumble once and i only trim the first time. so while I'm doing less than you, i would t say you're over doing it. Ive seen much worse

and why Hornady hasn't adopted that same thought process baffles me. Not sure if they've upgraded the pistol one yet but last i looked they didn't have the switch.

it doesnt bother me at all really, as stated its a little noisy when the initial tube is filling but once filled it flips on for just a sec to drop another case in. The bullet feeder is much worse tho and does not have an automatic shut off like the case feeder so its much louder and i wouldn't...
