AFAIK.All you need to do is switch your drivers license to an Indiana address.I know from experience a lifetime permit is no harder to obtain than a standard permit just costs a little more money.Indiana does issue out of state permits,apply now and just change your address with the state police...

Just move a little to the east into Indiana.Very few regulations,open carry and concealed carry plus now you can get a life-time permit for concealed carry.Not to mention taxes are cheaper.Still won't allow you to carry in the Republik of Ill. though.

Applied for my lifetime CCP nearly 10 weeks ago and haven't heard or seen anything yet.Anyone else in Indiana have simmilar problems.My last carry permit came in 6 weeks,Indiana claims they will deliver in 6 to 8 weeks.Police department told me they had a flood of people wanting the new lifetimes.
