I bought this nice Israeli HP at a gun show and sent it down the John Norell and had him refinish it with his Moly Resin finish. I just got it back and I have Meprolite Night Sights on order..-----[:D]
Here you can see how the MK II slide was slotted for the MK III sights...
Here is my current stable of HPs. Top is a MK III, middle is an Israeli police with nite sights, and bottom is a MK II....
And a MK III with nite sights..
My former father in law came over from WA State to visit and gave this to me. It was given to him by a WW II vet that took it from an SS Colonel in the Ardennes Forest. I do not know if the Col. was alive or dead at the time, and it doesn't matter!!! It is BEAUTIFUL, and note that the holster is...
This is my first Israeli HP AND it is an interesting example. It has a forged MK III receiver and a MK II slide that has been slotted for MK III sights. It still has the hole in the slide for the old half moon front sight and is not machined for the trigger lever with the firing pin block...

Here is the chamber of the 9 MM in its final iteration. Not very pretty, however it works and feeds just fine with no evidence of overpressure even with some pretty hot rounds!!! I have put a couple thousands of 9 MM through it!! I have some Swedish WW II Sub Gun ammo that is HOT, and it ate it...
Maybe I should have posted this on the holster Forum, cause that is some holster!!! Or perhaps the concealed carry Forum!!! Whadda you think??
Moderators, forgive me, please. I just could not resist!!!
My former wife's father sent me this. He is also a retired Navy Chief....----:D...
