I recently purchased this one. It's not a fully-railed quad, but there's space for rail attachments much like the Magpul MOE handguards. It may be a bit sci-fi in its look, but it's lighter than the stock fore-ends and so far it's been sturdy and comfortable to shoot. I'll try and post a pic...

I put a Strikefire Vortex Red/Green on my AR. Hence my vote, and the SPARC is next. For being under $200, the bang for buck complete with my purposes for the rifle align very well.

Great looking rifle. I told the wife my next AR would be a 20"... she didn't say NO.

The agencies that use it I reckon aren't interested in minimum effective force when needing to use it, but rather a high volume of suppression fire. Ex: Secret Service Again, I reckon.

The AR is really kind to users exactly the way it is. My suggestion is that you wait till you get the rifle and decide what to do after you take it for its first outing. Only then do you really get an idea as to what would make either you or the gun do "better" or at the least more comfortably...

I've had a pretty good time with the Vortex Strikefire @169, they also do a Vortex Sparc @199. Both are lookalike pseudo-clones of their respective Aimpoint influences, only practical downside being that there is .5-1" parallax within 50yds, and zero parallax 51+. Battery ratings are high, but...
