    SAA for Heavy Loads

I use to shoot a uberti cattleman with a 5 1/2 inch barrel in 45 LC. 300 gr bullets at 1000 fps and 250 gr bullets at 1200 fps are easy for the newer SAA clones to handle.

I do not know how cold it was any of these times but here is the four I remember. Ten years ago I was out hunting in the winter I my rifle froze up. Could not work the action. Six years ago I was laying on my side on a cement free stall floor pulling a calf out of a downed Cow, I spend 1 1/2...

    Whats yours?

Because it is better then me being down at the Bar boozing all night, driving home drunk then beating the crap out of the wife and kids. Or sometimes I look at them appalled and say " You mean to say you do not own any firearms?"

Suggestions for something in .45 long colt.

Hey Furncliff, The newer model rugers have tighter chambers most of them coming from the factory measuring right around .480< but the cylinder throats on the ruger Vaquero, blackhawk and bisley are all under sized. So if you are going to shoot hardcast bullets that are sized at .452 then you...

Hey ANGUSLINCOLN, All of the improvement with parts and laber will cost right around 400.00. The improvements will be dramatic compared to the stock Vaquero, such as high velocity with less powder this will be accomplished through tighter tolerances ( I forgot to mention that the barrel to...
