I know exactly what it is. I haven't tried it with the Marlin, I was just asking if anybody had done it. Maybe I'll try it and see when I get back out in the country next week or the week after.

What you can do, and it's pretty cool, is to have a closed action .22 rimfire rifle (bolt or lever action) with a 24 inch barrel and shoot cb caps. They run about 800 fps and will make less noise than an air rifle. I do it all the time at the country place. Can't hear nuttin.
