    Opinions on the P-07

Ok, so I went to the toy store again today and was torn between the P-07 and P-01. After playing with them for almost an hour, I have to say, that checkering is aggressive! But, it seems to me like the P-01 fits my hand a little bit better, with the 07 not far behind. However, I definitely...

    Opinions on the P-07

Thanks guys. I wear an undershirt 99% of the time, so hopefully that will be enough to protect me from the cheese-grater grip. But that UM grip sleeve looks like it would be nice. Might have to try that out. What do you guys use for holsters? From what I'm seeing, looking like only HighNoon...

    Opinions on the P-07

I am looking to get a new compact 9mm for range use and carry. I already have a subcompact (CZ RAMI) which I have had for about a year. I love the RAMI, but now I'm looking for something a little bigger with greater capacity. Naturally the CZ line was of interest, and the P-07 has attracted...

    Getting back into shooting skeet.

Remington also has a small handbook that is fairly helpful (and free). There's also one for trap. http://www.remington.com/~/media/Files/Booklets/skeet_fundamentals_2004.ashx

New Rifle at the Gun Show (AK / WASR)

I love my WASR, but I have been waiting to find for a good color for the wood. We might have found a winner. Thanks!

What kind of stain/wax did you use?

Boston teacher's perverted views on self defense.

True or not, school officials are always on top of keeping kids safe... http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2008/06/25/ap/strange/main4209861.shtml I also agree with previous posters about the anti-gun nature of a majority of the arts/education majors in college, both professors and...

    Oakley Shooting Glasses

I have a pair of the M frames that I use for clay shooting, and I think they are worth the money. The shooting array really bring out the orange targets. Shot an old pair of Oakley's from about 15 yards with a target load of 7.5 shot. Blew the frame to pieces, but no shot made it through the...

    Airlines and Checking your gun.....

To be more precise, as long as it is sturdy (no thin plastic), has decent hinges and clasps, and can be locked, you should be fine. Just don't expect careful handling by the baggage people.

    Airlines and Checking your gun.....

Using last year's adventure as a reference, it means they can play soccer with the case without it opening.

    Airlines and Checking your gun.....

I don't think it matters if it has any markings on it identifying it as a firearms case or not. My shotgun case has a big VT Clay Target sticker on it and I haven't had a problem with it. As long as your case is lockable and "airline approved," you will be fine. Just be prepared to deal wih...

    Gun manufacturer stickers on car

I don't know if this has been mentioned before, but I have seen people targeted for theft when they visit a shooting range. I was at the ACUI Clay Target Championship in San Antonio last year, and the team from Texas A&M Corpus Christi was targeted. Apparently they stuck a sticker on their...
