My low end 22 is a Remington Model 12 pump that I got from my FIL when he passed. Worn slam out looking and made in 1936 and the barrel was slightly ringed from him shooting a frog underwater :)...however I took that thing out and shot a dime size group at 25 yards with it..go figure. I can only...
Federal are not more "explosive" just softer cup metal. They DO go off better than CCIs in guns with tuned triggers such as PPC revolvers. Otherwise use interchangeably with CCI and Winchester. Just small pistol for small pistol and not switching with magnums or small rifles and u will be fine...
I have had a Blackhawk convertible 45 Colt 45 ACP 5 1/2 for a while now and it is one fine fun toy! Brought out one time on range among some young fellas with their Glocks and whatnot and got grief for it...until a couple of them shot it and said WOO this is fun!
Yup at 58, perfectly content. Told my wife. She said yeah RIGHT...LOL. Seriously though main focus now is feeding and shooting, BUT always on lookout for any deals that might come my way
Decent for pistol...but broke mine after a while sizing 308s. Called Lyman and they were useless as far as CS...totally. Their single stages are fine tho but their turret is a weak design IMHO compared to the Redding and Lee Classic Turret
I too have a Lee Loader for 303 British to play with. I love it. I also have a Lee hand press I use at WORK when slow...country 911 dispatcher...nights can get slow but just use it to size brass and expand. They might frown on powder and primers in the office...got a little bit of sense :)
Friend of mine had one and it was VERY accurate..shot entire magazine into about 6 inches at 100 YARDS!! center mass...kid u not...taking time mind you but still I found that pretty amazing
Started in 1980 and carried a Model 64 then later a S&W 66. Then in 86 or so department switched to S&W 645 Autos then 4506s then HK USP and ended my career in 2012 with a Glock 21SF. DO like my revolvers but for fighting will take a semi anytime.
Gander Mountain very near my favorite LGS is a ghost town. Anyone who buys a gun there is a pure idiot. Now GM might have other toys that you can place your mitts on right away however in my old age I've gained a degree of patience..
