Looking on Amazon for reviews from purchasers of magazine speedloaders I saw that MakerShot Magazine Speedloaders got the best reviews.
Does that match your experience? There’s the universal Maglula Uplula speedloader. Twice as expensive but is it twice as good?
The tech support lady at Ruger disappeared for awhile when I asked: gen 4 or gen 5? When she came back she said she had talked to “parts supply” and they said “definitely gen 4”.
I don’t think that means gen 5 won’t work but it could mean that gen 4 is simply more popular and easier to get.
Just bought a Ruger 45 ACP LC Carbine. It uses Glock mags. The only thing on Ruger’s website is:
I assume that means BOTH gen 4 and gen 5 mags will work. Is there any reason to prefer gen 5 over gen 4 or vice versa?
Looking for a rifle case my 30” Ruger 45 ACP PCC. I found this Bulldog case but don’t have any experience with Bulldog cases.
Any comments or suggestions ? Undoubtedly there are better ?

I’m was looking for the relative (to other powders) burn rate for True Blue and so far I’ve found 58 from LoadData.com, 44 from Grafs.com, and 22 from hodgdonpowderco.com relative numbers where smaller means faster burning.

I think that applies to the 1911s as well. Plus, I would probably get a Ruger 1911 which can handle 45 Supers with a swapped out recoil spring. Just call Wolff Springs.
I used 5.5±0.1 … even tho it took quite a few throws to accomplish that. Like a said earlier, there may be a 5.7 throw in one of the 100 rounds but since these are not +P loads, I think I’m ok.
BTW, this is the first time I’ve used Universal so the large flakes are something I’d only previously...
