    Loading 9mm for Accuracy/Precision

I have found that sorting the brass by headstamp made a huge difference. When seating the bullet you can feel the difference in tension between Win, Fed, Blazer etc... Blazer seems to be the worst for me and when firing them for plinking purposes you can almost hear the difference in sound...

    Acme 124 gr Lipstick Bullets

I don't know about Acme going commercial, but I believe Xtreme has a deal with Freedom Munitions.

    Acme 124 gr Lipstick Bullets

I switched form RMR plated to Acme 124g coated and saw no difference in loading. The only thing I had to change was to turn in my expander die to not shave the coating off. They measured the same as the RMR. I load them to 1.120

    Lee powder measure and Titegroup

I run 5.2g out of my Fn45 with no pressure signs, at 5g I had cycling issues but is quite accurate out of my 1911. at 4.7g it wouldn't cycle my Fn45at all but worked OK in my 1911 but was dirty.

    Lee powder measure and Titegroup

The data for Titegroup is a bit skewed for the 45ACP. At 4.8-4.9g it would not cycle my FNX45 routinely with a 230g plated bullet but was a softee in my 1911 and ejected at my feet. I upped it to 5.2g and shows no pressure signs and runs flawlessly with moderate recoil and it way for accurate...

Where are reloading components available (Not a Discussion Thread)

Be careful with American Relaoding. Their shipping takes FOREVER. If you get pulled bullets they are usually pretty trashed too and they mix all the different weights into 1 package. I have bought a bunch of surplus powder from them though with good results.

    BE/86 rmr 124.g fphp/w/G43.

I was messing with BE86 when it first appeared. I got good results with a 115g plated in the medium to high load range, but absolute crap with a 147g. Never could dial it in. They were OK from my MP9FS but were all over the place out of myLC9. Once I got the 115s dialed I just never messed...

    .40 S&W: Which plated bullet?

I like RockyMountainReloading 180 plated or Thebulletworks 180 plated bullets. TBW has free shipping and is usually one of the cheapest around. TJ Conevera also has good deals from time to time. I never cared for Berrys bullets much. Powerbond is another but a little pricier.

    BE/86 rmr 124.g fphp/w/G43.

interesting......I thought BE86 was supposed to have some flash suppressant in it?

    BE/86 rmr 124.g fphp/w/G43.

Up your charge and that soot ring will go away. BE86 is very clean IMHO but I also run fairly hot loads. Also back off on the crimp a bit.

Thanks for the reply. I ordered a few samples packs from each company. Ill try them all I guess. trying to avoid loading seperatly for 2 different 9mm guns

    VP9 vs poly coated bullets

Precision Bullets a definite and I believe the other one was either Eggleston or Bayou. I guess due to the Polygonal bbl.
