When I ride I use a dragon leatherowrks talon OWB holster for street riding its perfect.
I would call or email Dennis at dragon leatherowrks. Not only is he a great holster maker but is also a avid motorcycle rider including the fact that he does the 1000mile in 24hr iron butt rides.
He...
contact Wally at York arms he does a lot of custom stuff like this he might be interested. He just did an AR with an Octagonal barrel that looks pretty amazing.
Buddy of mine takes his .44mag elk hunting every year and he has a local guy load him some special loads that I know are over 300gr I think they are 320 but I could be wrong. I have shot exactly 2 of these rounds out of his dan wesson and that was plenty enough for me. But he takes elk with it...
For me the varmit discussion would start and end with a longer barreled AR in .223 but if your looking for a bolt gun I REALLY like the .220swift cartridge.
Here's my dilemma I have bushmaster AR and love it. Now I want to get a .300blk upper for it.
From my understanding I can use the same mags and same bolt and BCG for the .300blk. But some people seem very adamant that you should get a new BCG for each upper so the two wear evenly together...
I never like to hear about bad customer service, I have a .410/22lr combo that I love and have considered the circuit court judge but now I shall reconsider.
There is no question your overpaying for this trade but if they tossed in 10-12 Pmags we might talk.
All that being said if its worth it to you then its worth it.
For me this starts and ends with the Ruger 10/22
its been around forever
TONS of magazines and accessories available for it
you make it what you want, wood stock, rubber whatever you want
I am lusting hard over the new 10/22 breakdown model
All that being said my 10/22 doesn't...
The eye relief is as close as I can get without a black ring around the outside. That's how I spaced it. I agree it is a little low but not unusable. I may switch to higher rings but I assume the spacing will be the same or very close.
Previously I had a red-dot on my Carbon 15. Works great runs amazing and nothing better at close range.
However somewhere between old eyes and the big 3MOA dot on the red dot its pretty worthless out past 50-75yds. So I decided to put on a 3-9x scope on it. I know that the general rule is...
First to address my own question. I called bushmaster they said no problem it's all built to the same space other than the barrel nut.
@numbuts: I dont know of a top load model you might be thinking if something different.
I saw one of these Carbon 15 rifles today for the first time. Really impressed with how light it is.
Anybody here actually put a different upper on the carbon 15? I am specifically thinking a .300 blackout upper for hunting season.
