I think you answered your question, GAP is more expensive and harder to come by. Plus .45 is not goin away, the GAP who knows. Go with .45 its a safe choice for the long haul.

XD45 ...... if thats a choice otherwise go with the Glock.

Always carry Ive carried for a couple years now. Putting on my handgun has now become habit like putting on my socks, its part of the routine. Very seldom I run out for a quick errand and forget and I feel naked.

Pmag ?? Gunguy, I do not know.... But again I see no need to mess with it. Mags are cheap and plentiful ( at the moment ) . Maybe I am just ignorant to the appeal of a PMAG, durability I would assume. I will ask around. P.S. - My rifle is still running strong, Ive had a few 300-400...

Pmags I was told when I got my Superior M4 that it did not accept PMAGS. No big deal to me. Anyway..... Still liking my rifle, had a nice range day yesterday afternoon, I put about 300 rounds of Wolf through it without a hiccup. So far after about 1500 rounds it has run flawlessly eating...

Carry piece Ive carried an XD45 compact for a year now, love it. Just get a good holster, "Crossbreed Supertuck" is my preference.

5'10" 170 lbs. Carry a XD45 compact with 10 rnd daily, Uncle mikes IWB strongside. Comfortable, never a problem, its not too fat. I do agree the xtra lenghth of the 13 rnd mag doesnt help, if you like the XD look at a Compact.
