    Applicable Washington DC Law

While the statute in DC will obviously not exonerate me in MA, it will give my attorney & I grounds to say I was making a valid attempt to follow written law (no matter where it is)... I can't find the DC statute. or any other that plainly states that disassembly & locks are equivilent...

    Applicable Washington DC Law

After Heller v. United States, Washington D.C. passed a very strict new set of laws that required its residents disassemble or lock their weapons...even if they are in the comfort of their own home and have a permit. These laws remain undoubtably amongst the tightest in the US. Is the new...

    Vermont Technicality

If I were living in VT seasonally, and purchased a handgun from another VT resident, would I technically be in violation of the law? At a gun shop, you certainly need a VT ID, but do I NEED to be a permanent resident with a VT driver's license for a private party sale?

    Ruger P-Series Comparison

I just bought a solid P85 in good condition. I had a P89 a few years back, and it seems like the P85 is a much more accurate shot. Obviously, both barrels are the same length... How (if at all) does this old, heavy P85 shoot so damn good? Didn't the P89 "replace/upgrade" the P85? Why would...

help me win debate with my brother the cop...please.

I was raised in KY (very pro-gun), and had been working as a seasonal bartender in Florida (spring & summer) & Vermont (fall & winter). Long story short, I was stopped in MA in February 2009, and my weapon (Ruger P85) & 4 magazines were seized. Although I was NOT arrested, the cop told me I...
