This is a good point of knowing and trusting your equipment. Holsters are made for everything from free falling out of aircraft to concealed carry.
There is no substitute for experience when it comes to firearms.
The problem is it is retail for private seller. Retail prices are higher but most gun stores will not offer you much because of the need to turn a profit obviously.
Anywhere from $350 to a max of $430 is a good bargain. A lot of people offload firearms at a lower rate when they are in a hurry...
I like the M9 but I like the Glock 17 better. Used both in the Army. Glock was just more simple which in my mind makes a better "combat" weapon. M9 has an external safety that many "new" soldier or shooters need. My humble opinion. ;)
