    AR10 problem cycling

AR10 Are you sure you have the correct buffer and spring. The AR10 requires a different spring and buffer than an AR15.

    What's your deer hunting rifle

Indiana limits deer hunters to pistol cartridges of 357 bullet diameter and larger with case OAL no more than 1.8". That being said, I use a 357 max Encore with Hornady SSP bullets loaded with Lil Gun to around 2300 FPS. Effective out to 200 yards easily.

    Rabbits with a .17 HMR

I use the 17HMR on squirrels. Headshots only as any body hit makes a mess of the meat. The 17HMR shoots flat out to 100 yards so guessing holdover is a non issue.

Older 218 Bee and 22 Hornet rifles

Actually CZ Hornets do have .223 bore diameter. Shooting .224 bullets is safe and can be quite accurate in these guns since most commercial Hornet ammo today is loaded with .224 bullets. I believe Sierra makes a .223 Hornet bullet and maybe Privi Partisan loaded ammo may be .223 bullets Years...

    Rem-Oil?

rem oil I have used Mobile 1 20w50 and CLP for many years for my lube/rust prevention needs. At one time, I used a mobile1/atf/clp mix that worked ok. Getting old and lazy now thus mobile 1 and clp.

    Stock Repair

I've done quite well with eurethane glue (gorilla glue or like) on stocks that have been broken from heavy recoil. I'm sure it would work fine for your repair. Careful to moisten the repair area first and use small amount of glue as it expands quite a bit. I believe the newer gorilla glues will...

    44 mag. for deer.

44 mag for deer I have killed a few deer with the 44 mag in both rifle and pistol. Good round out to 100-150 yards with the proper bullet. Took one elk with the 44 mag. It was a standing broadside shot at 50 yards. The elk fell after running 50 yards.

    Judge Weighs in on Aurora

Outrage I surmise that as we are pacified by our prosperity and false sense of security at the expense of our God given liberty, we have embraced the "death of outrage". Let the sheeple be assembled and led to the promised land. Judges, Lawyers and politicians - "The unholy...

    Hunting rifle recommendation needed?

hunting rifle I vote for a remington model 7 in 308 Remington, 150 gr Nosler accubonds loaded to 2850 FPS or use Hornady super performance loads if more velocity is needed. Small whitetails to Elk at ranges under 300 yards. I'm getting older and the rifles are getting heavier. Top it off with a...
