Dillion lube or Hornady one shot

Have used Lee case lube for twenty five years for rifle cases. But when it comes to pistol brass there is nothing I've found that beats One Shot.

    Trimming brass

I run all my 5.56/223 brass through the trimmer. By the time it takes to measure them I can have them trimmed. Have a Possum Hollow trimmer mounted in a drill press and it take only seconds.:)

Please suggest a better tool re: crimped primers

After years of of trying all the short cuts (cheap) fixes for removing military primer crimps on 5.56 brass I plunked down $106 and got a Dillon Super Swage. Works like it said it should. Life is to short to waste time trying to save a few bucks. Get the swage you will not regret it.:o

Have you lost any "friends" because of your interest in firearms?

They weren't good friends, but yes. I will speak out when people spread anti-gun lies. I've lost friends over other political views too. Just a bunch of clowns that believe everything should be free for them paid for by us.

    .223 Cleaning Post Sizing

Have been using RCBS case lube and never removed it from thousands of rounds fired. The dies and AR don't seem to be any worse for it. Asked this same question before and didn't get reamed to hard for my laziness. Most thought the only loss was a few hundred fps down range due to gas loss in the...

    Imr 3031

IMR3031 is my favorite 223/5.56 powder. Much easier to find it in stock in #8 jugs.

    Frustrated with 223 case prep

I just run them all through the trimmer. If they cut they cut, if they don't they don't. After sizing they into my Possum Hollow trimmer mounted on a drill press. If I hear a finding sound then they need trimming. Take 15 seconds to pop them in.

    sorting brass

Shell Sorter Brass Sorter 9mm Luger, 40 S&W, 45 ACP 3 Bowl Set have used them for years and worth every cent I spent on them. $40 is not going to break the bank and they last a life time. You get to spend more time reloading or enjoying the family.

    Dillon Square Deal or 550B

I also have two Dillon SDB's that keep me in 45 acp, 9mm & 38/357. For rifle have used the Lee Classic turret press and do a few hundred 223/5.56 a week with out any problems. Still enjoy spending a hour after dinner reloading.:D

Want to swage .223 primer pockets

After years of trying different types of tools to remove military crimps I took the plunge and bought the Dillon Super Swage for $100. Expensive but it does work and haven't found a way to brake it.

getting a dillon but can't let go of my lee turret

Now have three presses on my bench two Dillon Square Deals & Lee Classic turret that turns out hundreds of 223/5.56 a week. And can change calibers in minutes. Keep the Lee and enjoy your new Dillon.:)

    Going back to a progressive?

Load all my rifle ammo on a Lee Classic press but for handgun 45 & 9mm I have two Dillon Square Deals and a third tool head in 38/357. The SDb's are both over twenty years old and turn out hundreds of rounds a week with little trouble. Remember the Dillon No BS warranty. After you purchase your...
