It looks like they reintroduced the sweet 16 from 1988 to 1992, mine would be the 1988 introduction. Not sure what this means for value, but it still is new.

Thanks for the help. I hadn't posted pictures to anything since high school so I tried some different things until I remembered you had to use a direct link. I'm trying to find brownings serial decoder so I can see exactly how old it is. Yeah, it's older...I just wish the box was as nice as the gun...kinda tattered but still the original box.

I don't have a clue about this shotgun except for the fact it is brand new in box, 28", grade 1, 16ga, vent rib, and has screw in invector chokes. The serial is 51*** pp 221. I would like to know anything about it as I figure I got a good deal on it but would love to know anything I could about it.

I have the set screw in my trigger assembly and the serrated trigger, I think that is the stage one (meaning the screw).

How do you tell the difference between the trigger stages? I am not sure about what kind of shot is in there, just bought it and shot it. Mine doesn't have the monte stock either.

is this thing steel shot safe? I have been shooting the remington premier nitros and am concerned about this.

How much are these things even worth, and how do I tell if mine is original. I know the custom shop did some work on these, but could the porting be by them?
