Small .22 pistols are lots of fun. The best things are they are cheap to shoot and very easy to carry. I use my p22 way more than my Buckmark Bullseye, or any other pistol. It can't hit t-posts all day like the Bullseye, but it works well enough for small game and metal spinners. Just ignore the...
I will keep bumping this thread until you post pics or a moderator says to stop.
"army-ranger" you want to start a thread about HK91 vs SCAR 17? Why don't you post some pics of the ones you claim to own? You want to know how your "NIB FAL" compares to your SCAR 17?
People like you do nothing...
^^^^ + you posted:"DSA FAL vs SCAR 17S
Which one is :
1- more accurate ?
2- more reliable ?
3- has less recoil ?
4- faster fallow up shot ?
5- lighter ?
6- more ergonomic ?
7- faster and easier to clean ?"
This is the second thread you started on the M107A1: http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?t=678545
That and editing your op I am starting to think you are misleading people here. Would it be possible for you to post pic's of: Hk-91 German NIB , 2 FALs spartan NIB, 2 XCR pistol NIB or 12...
Please shoot them and let us know how they group. If the optics are comparable I'd bet on the FN. Resale wise I'd bet on the Armalite. I have shot a friends FNAR and was very impressed except for the take down/cleaning.
The people who wrote the second amendment can't stop people today who wish to infringe on your "right" to bear arms, no matter how they worded it. Liberty can't be granted or taken by words, it can only be earned or taken by force. The people who wrote the second earned that liberty, people...
Good choice on the target. Shooting paper gets boring fast. The feedback from hitting metal and movement make dueling trees great. Have you tried the jumping .22 targets? They move randomly and give the same audible feedback.
You have 5 guns that you don't use(NIB). If you will use the Barrett I say go for it. That being said I can't remember the last time I shot my 99. Meanmrmustard is right they are a niche gun.
I use my p22 way more than my buckmark bullseye. No problems with it yet. It is super easy to carry on hikes unlike my bullseye. If you want a 22 for target practice get something besides the p22, but if you want something to hunt small game it works.
"The problem is, you can't have both armor piercing and tumbling. You can't repeal the laws of physics based on what video games, media, and Gov say."
Jaymo,
Looks like you can: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8WrokNC3Clc&feature=related
Not only those rounds but also ss195 pulled and reloaded...
People saying that AP ammo is not available are wrong. You can load the ss195 above 2200fps, or purchase ammo that will penetrate IIIa soft armor with ease. The factory loads are under powered(ss195) or designed on purpose(ss197) not to penetrate. Police are not the only people with soft armor...
I did a little more reading at: http://nucnews.net/2000/du/98du/981204du.laws.htm
If you are NOT a (FFL) licensee under the Gun Control Act (an individual):
It is:
ok to OWN AP ammo
ok to SELL AP ammo
ok to BUY AP ammo
ok to SHOOT AP ammo
NOT ok to MAKE AP ammo (18 USC sec. 922(a)(7))
NOT ok...
I'm sorry for derailing this thread, I was mad at EA for the wrong reason. The ATF rules for AP are the problem. The ATF rulings for AP have nothing to do with what a round can penetrate(II,III,IIIA...) but simple bullet construction.
You are not allowed to load all brass into a 5.7x28mm...
