Depends on how you use your rifle, but for just general range fun, this Nikon has been great for me.

Last year I was in South Carolina during that flood they had. I sat in that stand with plastic on my walnut and blue BAR thinking I should get a more weather proof rifle...I now have a Howa with synthetic stock and non blues finish just for those occasions.

In our household, mom drew the line at cooking game, so dad cooked and taught all four of us boys to do the same. It's been 47 years since my first dove and dumplings recipe was served. Good job dad.
There are more expensive, more modern rings out there, but Leupold rings (IMO) are quality made. My main experience with Leupold rings have been with the standard and dual dovetails, but I do have one rifle with the weaver style Leupold's and they hold just fine.
