Any signs of head separation?

I use Lee dies and they work. The rings on them are not lock rings and they do stay in place till the die is removed from the press. They really stay in place when I remove the "O" ring turn them over and snug them into place in the die plate with a wrench. They hold their adjustment just fine...

If trickling to an exact charge builds more confidence in the handload cartridge then do it.

I'm sure someone else has said it. If you can afford a 1050 with all the bells and whistles order it and don't look back.

Nice to have an easy one once in a while.

For light loads in 45 Colt I've sized Lyman 459130, 150gr, to .454" used a light powder charge and crimp over the top dive band. They look strange but shoot fine. Haven't tried heavy loads.

Do you have some pics? I use Fed Gold Medal for about everything. They have no internal taper like AA's do. Maybe a bit easier to crimp.

Started out working up loads for my GP100 this summer aiming for the 1000 fps mark a nice midrange magnum to work my skills up with heavier loads- and discovered that my throats are so darn tight on the GP100 that I'm basically shearing the lead away before it even gets to the bore..... that...

The collet press mounted pullers are much faster. Are you pulling cast or jacketed bullets from rifle or handgun?

More than one book would be better. Like Lyman and Lee and any other loading books.
