Budget 9mm for Small Hands...Opinions on Steyr M9A1 and the Beretta PX4 Storm

Good to see more Steyr fans. An odd but underrated shooter. I like that the plus mags add 2 rounds to the full size with little extra length.

Budget 9mm for Small Hands...Opinions on Steyr M9A1 and the Beretta PX4 Storm

Well I didn't really recommend either gun but the Px4 Just saying that the quality of a under $500 gun should not be what the report posted showed. All 1911's are not equal.

Budget 9mm for Small Hands...Opinions on Steyr M9A1 and the Beretta PX4 Storm

Shoot the Glock 43 and the SW Shield are less than this 1911. Now if you really want a 1911, then there it is. Now for a little bit of fun :D Hokey religions and ancient (1911) weapons are no match for a good (Glock) blaster at your side, kid. :neener: Just kidding please no 1911...

Budget 9mm for Small Hands...Opinions on Steyr M9A1 and the Beretta PX4 Storm

The second review I posted is telling, no point for it to fit your hand if its going to cut it up. FWIW there are plenty of $1000 1911's I would not buy either just for their fit and finish. It's a low cost 1911 9mm but for Bud's cost of over $500, with FFL transfer, I bet you could do...

Budget 9mm for Small Hands...Opinions on Steyr M9A1 and the Beretta PX4 Storm

Read the last review on the http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/products_id/84177/American+Classic+ACC9B+1911+Commander+9mm+4.25%22+9%2B1+Checkere Are these made in the Philippines? Not sure this would be a better choice in 1911's...

Budget 9mm for Small Hands...Opinions on Steyr M9A1 and the Beretta PX4 Storm

Of the 2 guns you mentioned I would go with the Px4 Compact with the small back strap. The PX4 grip is very svelte. If you can go full size there is a Px4 C model with a consistent trigger pull (somewhat like a Glock) so no Da/SA issues. While I like the Steyr M9, its grip, while not fat, is...

Beretta 92 FSS INOX Italian 1993 NIB Pics

That's the way they used to come. From what I understand the 9x21 mag will work but I have not tested it nor completely confirmed this.

P-09 or H&K USP help please

Poly mags are cheaper to make, and HK does not do low price point mags. Shoot even the USP poly mags are pricey. :uhoh:

P-09 or H&K USP help please

Well I like the 19 round capacity of the CZ 09 mags I wish the price of the mags was better. You can get an 18 round mag for the USP but HK mags are always costly. For Me I like both gun companies, owned plenty of USP 9's and they are top notch in quality and durability. And I know I...

    Old and Under Rated 9mms

Given the budget contraints, The HK P7 is out. I agree the Ruger P Series is a tough as nails old underrated firearm, easily found for under 400 The Spanish Astra pistols, several of those are quality all metal guns. The Norinco 1911 or the 213 9mm are tough as nails guns (the 1911...

    Kriss Sphynx Compact/sub

Looked at one of these compacts at a LGS, used for $800 ish, I like Sphinx guns but was not really feeling it with this gun, very sig like, much heavier and just awkward feeling. I'm glad I don't have the requirements that you would have for the Glock 26 and 19 If I had to do all that...

    Norinco 1911 value?

FWIW I picked up and unfired, magazines in wrap, parkerized, Norinco 1911 for $500 private sale. The spare mag was still in its wrap, tools, paperwork...everything.

    My 1006 was lonely

Actually a 1066 would have truly been a good friend to a 1006 but i'm sure the 4506 will keep it company as well.
