    Crimping without cannelure

    Slight crimp is OK, but if you don't trim your cases uniformly, accuracy will suffer slightly due to inconsistent crimp tension/pressure. It'd minimal, but worth mentioning if accuracy is your number one concern. Lenny

    375 Ruger

    Read the article in G&A. Looks promising. Short neck, but most of the WSM cases have short necks too. I really like the Alaskan model with a 20 inch barrel. Should be a real nice Alaska/Canada type gun. Bet some profesional Alaskan guides may bo for that. I guess we'll see. Lenny

    The minimum caliber for defence against black bear at close range?

    If your primary hunting weapon is a big .460, then get S&W's version of a .460 snub for back-up. That way you have a common caliber. Use big a** heavy bullets for back-up. Lenny
