DPMS Panther Lite .223: Good Value?

I have a lite 16, and could not be more happy with it. I have shot about 6K rounds through it, and never has a single malfuntion. The rifle will eat any ammo i put through it, and hold a very acceptable 2 inch group at 100 yards. I would recomend the lite 16 to anyone.

Miami Rifle & Pistol Club (Cincinnati, OH)

I am also a member of the fairfield sportsmans assosciation. When my renewal came in the mail yesterday, it went straight to the trash can. This whole bit of closing the rifle range, and not making any progress to getting it re-opened a year later was the final straw. Now i just need to find a...

Anyone still make AR's with A1 style sights?

I have a DPMS lite 16 with a c7 upper on it. The C7 is an a2 upper with a1 sights. I cant say enough good things about it. Definately a rifle to check out.

    Civil War Rifle?

If it is the condition it was described as, and is an actualy 1861 springfield (not a contract or a latter production 1861) it may be worth 4K+. Without seeing it, it would be hard to know for sure, but a true 61 springfield is excelent shape with cartushe's (i know that is spelled wrong) is a...

    polytech M-14 compatability

the only parts that will not fit are the castle nut and the gas plug, as they are threaded with metric threads. The castle nut can be forced from what i hear. GI bolts will allmost allways needs to be headspaced before they can be used. The polytech recivers are much closer to GI spec than M1A...

Buying a gun at Dick's Sporting Goods

I am unfortunate enough to work at dicks part time. The company is generaly anti gun. Corperate wont let us carry handguns, wont let us carry semi-auto centerfire rifles 9we can special order them still) wont let the lodge (gun department) people carry, even if they have a permit, and even went...

Another G-98 blast from the past, w/offset-mounted optics!

the scope looks like a lyman alaskan. A few 1903-A4's used that scope in WW2. Most of the ones that used that scope where converted in 1943 from a3's once they where allready in the pacific theater. Not a bad scope in 1943.

    Note To All Firearms Dealers-

I work in the gun department at dicks sporting goods. The only deney i have ever had was a shady looking charater wearing a trench coat. I just had a realy bad vibe about this guy. If he was approved, i was going to hand him over to the manager, so i would not be the one sued when we said no, we...

    Gun shop blues

I think every city has at least one shop like that. The local culprit in my city has been seen trying to sell a well used m48 mauser for over 500 bucks. To make it even worse, he was trying to pass it off as a K98. When i pointed out that it was not a k98, the owner called me a liar to my face...
