What's involved in rechambering one of these rifles?

Can anyone actually point out where to get 8x56r ammo? I can't find any. 2 places had web sites saying they had them but when I called said they were out. I really want to get some.

I don't see them on the hornady website. I'd love to try some. Anyone have a link. I've also been looking for surplus but so far everyones out. Where should I be looking for surplus? thx

What California laws are there about buying ammo online from another state? Is it legal as long as the ammo its self is not illegal?

I've been reading up on California gun laws and was wondering if anyone had any good links or knowledge on how to transport my rifle legally. My understating of it is that I should have it in the trunk with no ammo attached to it in anyway and only when I'm taking it to the shooting range...

Yea, I've been hearing they have a good kick. I read you can also buy low recoil bullets for it. Is that true?
