Long time lurker here looking for experienced advice. I'm looking at putting together a new iwb carry rig for my 5" 1911. I understand that the belt is just as, if not more important than the holster itself.

Yes JT front sight is still perfect and intact. Hopefully I'll get a magazine ordered for it soon. I need to put a box of ammo through it, just to say I did lol. I had a couple of friends ask about it, but with the previous comments I guess I'll just keep it unless someon offers me a stupid...
According to the link posted above, this is a Type 38 (which we already knew) manufactured @ the Nagoya Arsenal. Any other insight is greatle appreciated!

It's surprising clean, I guess stuff under a stack of old clothes for 15+ years is good for one lol. Thanks again for the help so far. I should have time to work on it this evening and I'll report back.

Tried my best push the safety with no luck, also snapped a pic of the small cover that had been removed during a previous attempt by the person that probably got frustrated and put n the closet god knows how many years ago lol! At least that person was nice enough to tape the screw for the side...
We could almost call this a barn find, while cleaning out my mother in laws closet we happened upon a Japanese 38 rifle to the best of what I can tell. The bolt is stuck in the forward position and it looks as if someone has tried some type of repair work on it already. Anyone have any resources...
Very interested in the iOS, I have a couple pcs in the house, but use the iPad the most, I'll keep an eye on this thread I'd be willing to be a test mule if needed.
