I thought so. I'd be surprised if .45 ACP could do that. But yes, I'd probably be shooting mostly jacketed rounds through it, cause that's what I shoot out of my 1911.
Well then sounds to me like I wouldn't be going wrong with a SRH Alaskan 454. I'd only be shooting .45 Colt anyway, so it's essentially an extra-extra heavy duty .45 Colt DA revolver
Well, I'm more concerned about the bullet perhaps beating up the forcing cone or something, is that possible? And would that put stress on the frame? Longevity is my concern.
