    Glock 20, 10MM Longslide Conversion

I finally got back home long enough to put a few rounds down range today. Here are three rapid fire shots in slow-mo. These Underwood 220gr hardcast are listed at 1200 fps and normally tend to send the muzzle towards your forehead! I was very happy with the control and think it will get better...

    Glock 20, 10MM Longslide Conversion

Yeah, my bride of 27 years! She's a good 'en! I have a Dillon Square Deal with a set of .40 cal dies. It will do 10, but I haven't set it up yet. I do have the kids scurrying around after every shell so I can stock pile. Interesting thing, my 4.6" stock G20 would fling the empties about...

    Glock 20, 10MM Longslide Conversion

I am very pleased with how the "melt" turned out. Combined with the Ameriglo tall sights (suggested by Lowewolf), the red dot sits exactly on top of the front post when sighted it. I not familiar with the Roni chassis, but I'm googling that next! That's a great point. Actually the ONLY reason...

    Glock 20, 10MM Longslide Conversion

Wow, maybe the best compliment that I have received on this gun yet, thanks! :) This project has been in the works for a long time. I scrimped and saved and then had all the parts on my wishlist at their site for well over a year. That wishlist is a neat way to dream up a project and then start...

Thinking about getting a Glock in 10mm. Any advice?

I guess I'm all in on the 10mm. The G29 is my everyday carry choice. It rides on my hip all day in just a sticky holster and doesn't move unless I move it. I generally carry Winchester Silvertips in 175gr. My local hardware store always has a few boxes on the shelves. For hunting and just...

    Glock 20, 10MM Longslide Conversion

Thanks! I was afraid that the photos don't do it justice. I had Lonewolf Distributors do the film dip finish. It is a 4-week chemical bonding process and I couldn't be happier with it. It is $75 which was worth it to me for the weather protection, not to mention the look it gives the gun. I...

LOL just for that, here's another!

    Glock 20, 10MM Longslide Conversion

I just got my G20 back from Lonewolf Dist. Added a 6" threaded barrel and slide, Burris FastFire III red-dot set down in a combat melt. Also added Ameriglo Tall Tritium sights (suppressor sites) that can be viewed through the scope when it is not powered on. All new internals and had the whole...

Are Glock 29 SF's Hard to Get?

I looked for over a year trying to find mine, but I was looking for a deal. I missed a few, because they go quick. I've had mine for about a month and a half, and the love-affair is still in full bloom. It's on my hip everyday and my other girls have been kicked to the curb. Good luck finding...

    .40 defection???

You may want to consider carrying both. You could really piss someone off by shooting them with a 9mm, you may want to have a .40 handy in case they try to get even!

Rottweiller w/ idiotic owner vs. Glock 36

My pup (122 lbs) chewed and chewed and chewed for about 4 hours before he gave up. Not a scratch! Too bad Glock doesn't make dining room table legs!

Glock 29SF 10mm with Lasermax Internal

I use lasers. I have Sig Sauer STL-900L Tactical Light/Laser combos on my nightstand Springfield Armory XD45 and my Keltec Sub2000 .40 cal. The laser is red, but effective in-house and in low light. The 130 Lumen light on strobe is practically a weapon in itself. I wish that I had bought a dozen...

Glock 29SF 10mm with Lasermax Internal

Yeah I see there are quite a few after-market springs to choose from. It would be nice if Glock provided these, they are after all marketing it as a 10mm not a .40 cal. But the truth be told, the bulk of my shooting will be low power loads and or .40 cal with a conversion barrel. My everyday...

Glock 29SF 10mm with Lasermax Internal

I think you may be on to something Jim. I took a short vacation this week and had a chance to visit a few gun shops. A gunsmith at one told me that he had to disassemble several guns to remove shards of Lasermax internal lasers that had exploded. Not sure if he was blowing smoke or not, but...

Glock 29SF 10mm with Lasermax Internal

Nice Pic, nice gun. My Dillon .40 cal die set will do the 10mm, but I haven't looked a the data yet. I'll have to acquire a bit of brass as I test the factory loads to see what I like. For $10 the Pearce grips look like a nice accessory.
