Rust...
I would suggest just running a patch with bore cleaner through the barrel. That usually gets the small amount of rust off where I load my ammo on my 30-30 lever action.
THANK YOU!!! Everyone says AR's are getting more expensive because of Obama, but I haven't seen a significant rise AT ALL! The only thing I see happening is people after the election went and spent three months salary on ammo! I used to be able to go to Wal-Mart and get two or three boxes of...
Four words...
Quicker follow up shots.
I live in California. You CAN use AR style rifles to hunt in this state, it just has to be .30 caliber or higher. That is the reason I am going to buy an AR chambered in .308. It is thought of as inhumane to hunt with a .223 or smaller unless you are...
Depends on the caliber/mag or not mag. I would imagine a .338 Lapua Mag would mess with any watch's mechanics. But I could be wrong.
I have a Seiko watch I wear all the time when shooting, nothing has ever broken or malfunctioned yet!
As for those saying a .22LR compact pistol doesn't have much recoil, I would have to disagree. My dad owns a small pistol chambered in .22LR. That gun has about as much kick as a medium size, easily concealable 9mm.
Get a gun that is simple to operate.
I have said it in other forums on home/personal defense I suggest a gun in 9mm at least. The .22LR is a good round for plinking steel plate targets, but are not that formidable when it comes to personal defense. Kahr , like someone above me said make very...
Perfect name!
Overpriced Wilson Model 1911. Just kidding! But they are overpriced for 1911's.
Ooh, another! They could call it the Wilson NAK. Yeah, that sounds like a good one. Of course the acronym would stand for Not a Kimber.
Or the Wilson Combat PSPI standing for the Wilson Combat...
WOW!!
I am not worried about the government or local police force, but I wouldn't say something stupid based on principal.
The only thing I am worried...and surprised about is the fact that people replying to threads can be fairly closed minded. All I said is that I have hit targets at 500...
I actually shoot 150-155 grain bullets because the rifling twist in my rifle prefers a lighter bullet. 170 grain bullets tend to go awry at about 200 yards.
Also, I sense a bit of sarcasm in the post above this one... Hmm... ;)
I was shooting my Garand at 200 yards yesterday. That SR target is awfull small at that distance. It's bigger then a milk jug and still difficult to see at 200.
If you have trouble with a Garand at 200 yards you just... Wow. An M1 Garand in CAPABLE hands can explode a 2 liter bottle with ease...
