Brownells shows the hook height at 0.023" but they are out of stock.

Cylinder & Slide used to have a MARSOC hammer with extra hook height.

Past experience: 250gr LWC with ~ 21gr of 2400 powder. Very accurate from my 7.5 inch Super Blackhawk. Lots of penetration.

It is common. I had a Springfield 1911 that would do this and I have seen a Sig 220 that did it also. Both were completely reliable.
