    firestar m40

I found that my m40 started to have FTE from a little spot of carbon underneath the extractor. It seemed improbable, but removing that completely solved my FTE issues.

    what to carry running

Pistol Wear is a brand that works great. It keeps the gun dry, is an adjustable bellyband style, marketed for running. I think the ad was in an American Rifleman mag when I got it. I don't know how to get a pic off my iPhone at the moment, but it has been great.

If there could be only one?

9mm, light, and thin wins the gold for me! If I had to dump the four I carry, a pf9 would be the last carry gun standing.

Which of these subcompacts would you get?

The PF-9 has been perfect for my needs. It fits into the roles and places I need better than any other gun I've tried.

    taurus 651 need owner feedback

I have a blued 651 that I really like and use quite a bit. That being said, It has had several quality issues that added over a hundred and a half, to the price just in shipping. I wouldn't trade it for anything, (present from wife / perfect fit for my needs) but I won't be buying another made...

    Revolver IWB holster

The fellow at K-Holster made an IWB model for the GP100 after I asked. I cut some pachmyre grips down to compact size, and use this holster very comfortabily w/ my 4" GP100. Sorry, I don't have pictures.

    9MM Summer Carry

If you're going to carry OWB, than G26 is the answer. If Pocket carry is what you want, the walther is the winner off of your list. For pocket nines, I think the place to look is Kel-tecs and Kahrs. (Rohrbaugh for the rich and J frames for me, for my opinion of pocket carry)

    1911 breakage

I have a series 80 stainless Officer's Colt. What would cause the ears on my bushing to break off? It happened to me about 50 rounds in on the day. I'm just curious how often this occurs. Thanks-

    TAP vs. PDX1

I have bought and tested both. I think I may have been leaning toward the TAP because of the +P loading, but it sounds like the PDX1 has the edge w/ the newer tech.

    TAP vs. PDX1

I aquired .45ACP Hornady TAP+P 230g and Win PDX1 230g recentily. Knowing that both feed reliabily from an officer's model Colt, which would you carry and why. Thanks in advance.
